Let’s see. Weekend #2 just finished and we’re still not completely moved. We took a ton of stuff to Goodwill last night. It’s always a good thing when you move to know that you’re decluttering in the process!
Still have some stuff at the old place that’s going to storage (thank goodness we cleaned THAT out ahead of time!). Then there’s the cleaning. I never have liked that part of moving…can you imagine!?
In the meantime, there’s a lot of boxes at the new place. For the most part we’re in functioning mode (just barely), but I’ll just have to unpack as I go. We’re headed back out on the road today so everything’s just going to have to wait for the weekend coming up. That’ll leave me Monday thru Wednesday to do last minute cleaning and get the carpet cleaning folks in the door.
As for business, I spent some time cleaning up there too. I got rid of some old themes that were causing errors, changed out the theme on my new site because it wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do. For that site, I wanted the Pages to display in the title bar but the theme I was using fills it with Categories. I’m guessing it’s an easy fix, but I’m just not that motivated to play with code that I could mess up royally…not when there are so many themes available to use. 🙂
At this point, I’m primarily working with a handful of sites. Three blogs… One on internet marketing, one about my family history, and my rants blog. On the product only side I have my PLR store. Right now, the PLR that site is offering is from other PLR writers…the ones that I trust and use for my own site content. I haven’t taken the time to write my own PLR yet, hence the downsizing. I have two others that will definitely get some of my time right now as well…my Halloween & Christmas stuff.
I’m sure I have other sites but I just can’t think of what they are offhand… and that tells me that they’re not making it to the top of my list anytime soon. If I don’t remember what they are, I’m probably not as passionate about them as I should be!
