Vlog Day 13 – Check-In – Week 2 of the Product Creation Challenge

Yes, I know we’re supposed to be doing these on Sunday, but better a day late than not at all!! You can watch the video and there’s text below.

Week 1 of the Tiffany Dow / Bonnie Gean Product Creation Challenge got started last Monday and it’s cool that there are so many people participating!

I spent last week working on the sales copy for my research packs and will spend today making sure the products contain all that they’re supposed to, along with figuring out how to put a “Buy” button on the page. I’d like to have all that done before starting on my product idea(s) for this challenge so that I feel like I’m doing stuff in some semblance of order.

I was hoping to get that all done last week but it didn’t happen so here I am… I could have done it over the weekend but my shoulder was acting up again on Saturday and I took my honey to see Iron Man 3 yesterday.

We both loved the show but it was funny. When we were still outside the theater there was a boy about 7 years old who saw us looking at the Iron Man poster on the wall. At first I thought he said it was good, but I wasn’t sure if that’s the one he was talking about. So I asked… “Did you see Iron Man?” He said “Yes.” I asked, “Did you like it… was it good?” He said… “Yep it was good… but it was dumb!”

I felt like I’d just joined the AT&T guy at his kiddie tables! LOL

Anyway, I had a front molar crack on Friday too and was supposed to see my dentist this morning. They called to let me know that his wife went into labor this morning so we rescheduled. The man is 50+ and this is his first. Nothing wrong with that… but for me there’s NO way… it’s either grand kids or nothing at this point in my life!!

So, I’m off to start my day. Not real sure what that’s going to entail other than staying inside with the A/C on (it’s been over 100 degrees for two weeks now) but I’m planning on getting the buy button thing done and then go from there.

Oh, I’ve also been helping my honey with his site. We went looking for a Pinterest-type theme because I think he’ll enjoy that more and do more with it. Since English is his second language, he doesn’t spend much time reading or writing it… he can, he just prefers not to because it frustrates him sometimes.

We’ll see how that goes too. So far I’m not overly impressed with the themes we’ve found, mostly because they don’t come with a “Pin It” option on the images automatically like they do on Pinterest. I’ll have to play with it some more later. Right now, my products are priority.

I hope you had a great weekend and will have an even better week!!

  1. Hey girlfriend!

You lost your train of thought there! I do that LOTS these days, but I think my excuse is old age. I don’t think you’re at that point yet, so it must be work overload. πŸ™‚

I wish your other half luck with his affiliate sales! Tell him I said so and with doing video, he wouldn’t need to write much. πŸ™‚

So glad you made a video blog. I was so scared when I seen there were only 4 posts at Tiffany’s for the Video Sunday. I think it’s important we all keep in touch!

Thanks for the shout out! I do appreciate it!

    1. LOL… I’m getting close to that age trust me! I’m a card-carrying member of Lumosity.com for just that reason!!

I’m seriously doubtful about the whole video thing with him but you never know. Hell, we’ve been together nearly 5 years and I’ve gotten TWO decent pics of him for ME!! We have NO good ones of the two of us together (and I thought my mom was bad about pictures!).

You’re right about the vlogging… we’ll get some more folks on board eventually I’m sure!

  2. Hey Debi – Great minds think alike. My video was also one day late, and as you said – better late than never. lol.

Good to hear that you are making progress with your product. I hope you figure out the “Buy Button” situation.

I really enjoyed Iron Man. It was dumb but it made me laught and had the right amount of action to keep you entertained to the very end.

Have a great week, and I hope you get the tooth seen to. Ouch πŸ™‚

    1. I just love Stark’s love of himself… it makes him who and what he is (and the loving side for Pepper was a nice addition). πŸ™‚

The tooth is ok… just hoping they can crown it rather than have to implant again… that would put me back to work on a truck without question. I’m pretty sure we could handle the crown with a bit of juggling. I’ll know more on Wednesday. πŸ™‚
