More Setup and Reading

Today I remembered reading from tifany that the successful internet marketing people have /blog after their site name. So I created another subdomain and database within DebiJ called blog and then uploaded my WordPress information to create the actual site. From here forward I’ll be doing my daily logs within that area (DebiJ/blog). I also set up MyFavoritePLR.com site using the same steps as for DebiJ (minus adding the /blog).  Now it’s time to start watching videos so I can see how to make this all happen and what to do next. Where to Start I’m starting with Bring The Fresh. I sent a note to Tiffany yesterday asking about where to start. She suggested service first (ghostwriting, backlink building, virtual assistant, etc.), then my own product (ebooks, PLR store, etc.), and then affiliate marketing. I’m working backwards…and I’ll explain why. With what I have going on in my life at this moment, my service would be sub-par and I just don’t work that way. I’m one of those people who under-promises and over-delivers. I don’t know whether it’s the perfectionist part of my personality that pushes me that direction or it’s just the way I was raised, but since I’m not in a position to give it my full attention, that part of the equation will have to wait. The affiliate marketing is something I can do where my schedule won’t affect someone else’s livelihood. If it takes me 2 days to set up a site then great. And if it takes me 2 weeks, the only person it can affect is me. As for my own products, I know that’s something that I can also put together in my own timeframe and will probably end up being a natural part of what comes from my learning BTF and applying it to affiliate sites. I may consider individual PLR sites (which will grow My Favorite PLR site at the same time) since I got some really great ideas today from an interview of Tiffany by Mike Long. In fact, that particular interview has my head spinning and I have NO doubt that my sleeping hours are going to be severely limited over the next few weeks. Every time I start a major project that gets me this excited, sleep always goes to the wayside! :) Loving it! So, it’s been a fantastic second day. I would absolutely love to become a Bring The Fresh affiliate. I saw in the first or second video that it’s a private affiliate program that I have to be approved for. I’m just not sure whether I have enough information set up anywhere to be approved. Definitely going to ask though!!
