2012 – Planning My Year

I started driving a truck back in 2007.  At the time, I’d been working on building an online business for a couple of months. I figured that I could drive, build the business at the same time and eventually get it to the point where it would equal or if she the money I’d been earning in my network marketing business.

I was SO naïve!

So, during the past month I’ve been working on figuring out what my 2012 is going to look like, and what it’s going to take to get me where I want to be. I’d planned to be off the truck by Christmas of this year but that didn’t happen, partly due to poor planning on my part. I’m gonna make sure that the same thing doesn’t happen in 2012. I’m setting business and personal goals this year that are doable…goals that have steps attached to get me there a little each day.

 

Business Goals

 

The first thing I did for my business was commit to Tiffany Dow’s [Lightweight] Productivity Challenge. It lasts for 365 days and the emphasis is on setting goals that you can get consistently completed every day, without setting them so high that you’ll never be able to make it happen. I like that.

 

I’m focusing on 3 areas of my business:

 

1) PLR Provider Reviews (I’m letting people know who the PLR Providers are, what they offer, what the quality’s like, etc.)

 

2) PLR Website Creation (I’m building PLR Websites that target individual niches & include Amazon Products)

 

3) PLR Content(I’m adding content to my PLR Store…blog posts, articles, ebooks, reports, auto-responders & more)

 

My tasks will include:

 

1. One PLR Provider Review per week – I’m making a list of 52 PLR Providers & will be adding a review to my site each week.

 

2. One PLR website built per week for my store – One per week because I have a lot of technical stuff to learn = 52 new websites!

 

3. One page of PLR per day, 5 days per week for 1 pack per week in my store – By the end of the year I’ll have 52 new packs!!

 

Those are my 3 main goals to begin creating income this year. 🙂

 

Personal Goals

 

My personal goals are primarily designed around my health. It’s not that I’ve been unhealthy, but I’m fighting my “maturing” factors everywhere I can. I intend to live to be a feisty little old lady in my 90’s and beyond but if I don’t start improving on my health and habits now, it won’t be as enjoyable as I’d like it to be.

 

My focus areas:

 

1. Diet – I’ve been looking for (& finally found) a long-term “change of eating” plan that I can live with & not feel deprived.

 

2. Exercise – I love my Beachbody stuff but it’s tough to do from the truck. So the most I’ll shoot for initially is 10,000 steps a day.

 

3. Water – I’m great with this for the most part, but I wanna become conscious of getting 70 ounces EVERY day vs. MOST days.

 

That’s what I’ve got for now. I’ll be adding details to everything as I go.
