Week 1 Blog & List Building Challenge Posts

This is the first week of Tiffany’s Freaking Fantastic Blog & List Building Challenge.

I got all 3 of my posts done this week so I’m stoked on the direction I’m moving. I spent most of Monday getting it done, but a lot of that wasn’t just writing my post. I also spent a lot of time working thru some of the blog setup itself. I got both opt-in boxes created, positioned, posted and tested and my CommentLuv plugin installed and tested.

This post was one I had planned to write for the first day. I didn’t get it up as early as I’d planned but I did get it posted before midnite so I gave myself a gold star for the day.

Wednesdays post wasn’t what I originally planned but, like most of my blogs, it came out of something I’d noticed in my personal life the day before.

Friday’s post wasn’t planned either. I’d know since Wednesday exactly what I was going to cover on Friday, but then I changed course again when I woke up. I decided to pretty up a document that I’d created for my own use and make it available to everyone in the challenge because I’d seen comments about similar frustrations.

I haven’t figured out yet what I’m going to create as giveaways for my subscribers yet, but I’m planning to go back thru Ruth Pound’s Freebie Ideas post http://www.theinternetdream.com/15-freebie-ideas-to-send-to-your-list/#more-1310 and see what I can come up with over the weekend. If you’re still looking for ideas for your own readers, you should really go check out her post!
