Time to get to work. Tiffany Dow’s starting a Branding Challenge at the beginning of October. It’s going for 30 days (more or less), and it’s a way of figuring out who we are in this world of Internet Marketing. I don’t know if it’s going to be easy to define myself or difficult given that I’ve always been one of those “Jack of all trades, master of none” kinda people, but I have NO doubt that it’s going to be fun!
So, I ordered the Branding Yourself book that Tiffany had mentioned on her blog…just got it today. Too bad it’s not an audio version or I could listen to it on my drive to Long Beach today!
Oh yeah, I got my updated version of Dragon Naturally Speaking today too. Once I get Dragon installed, I’ll be ready to start dictating my thoughts again while I’m on the road…Yay!
Last tools I’m waiting for that should be here before the challenge actually starts…my Flip Ultra HD camera and my laptop (it got crushed during our move so I’m currently borrowing my son’s laptop), and I should be ready to roll.
I will warn everyone ahead of time though…I may be shooting videos after 18-hour days at 3 or 4am so be prepared to be frightened and remove all small children from the room before pressing the play button! 🙂
Making it happen…

LOL! I love it. At least you are not as chicken as I am. I am still trying to get up the nerve to buy the camera, much less get in front of it. I will get there..I will..I really will..maybe?
Linda,
Unless you’re hiding in your house never letting people see you (& if you are that’s a whole other issue!), there’s no reason not to be on camera! 🙂 I think the trick is to just be you…like you have a friend having coffee with you across the table rather than a camera in your face. LOL
