My Usual Day…

Debi May Truck

While I’m becoming a successful Internet marketer, I also drive a truck. No, not a Chevy (well, I DO own and drive one of those as well) – I’m talking about driving a big rig (yes, I know you don’t like them on the road, but without us you’re not going to have any food or decorations or gifts for the holidays).

Today, I woke up about 8am, not because I wanted to, but because my son called me. I talked with him for a bit then back to bed for a couple hours.

When I got up the second time, I called into work to see where we were headed for the day, made coffee, ate a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with Raisins and a banana sliced on top.

Pet Ferret ZeusI let Zeus (our pet ferret) out of his cage so he could enjoy part of my banana and run around the house for a bit.

I hate having him in his cage so much but we moved to a new place this month so we’re in the process of retraining him on where his litter box is! Needless to say he’s getting more treats than usual, just because I feel bad. 🙂

I spent about an hour going through emails to see what PLR specials are available…there’s a few really good ones! Yep, I bought another pack for the holidays!

Left the house about 1pm for work. Picked up my container in Phoenix. Drove to Buckeye to get Z’s drive tires changed and his air conditioning fixed (In 104 degree weather, he isn’t going to get far without it!).  While we were waiting for the truck to get done, I spent 15 minutes watching Steve Wilkos. I remember now why I turned my TV off so long ago.

Went back to my truck and spent then next two hours working on setting up my Aweber account for my blog. Not a whole lot of luck there. :/  Still figuring out my way around Aweber. I’m setting up my opt-in report, the emails that go with the course so they’ll auto send, and then I gotta figure out how to get the report to send when someone signs up for it.

More learning curve stuff…

Long Beach PortWhen we finally got rolling again, we drove to Long Beach.

Got a chance to listen to an audio about blogging – very interesting.  We also managed to bypass the Banning Scale (not an easy task nowadays since the company we drive for is on mandatory inspection).

Since we didn’t have to get in THAT 45-minute long line, we managed to make it our first port by midnight. They were fast tonight so that’s good. If they hadn’t been, we would never have made it into the second port before 2am to get our return load home! 🙂

We drove another hour, then parked for the night in San Bernardino.  I glanced back at my email to see if anything stuck out as important enough to deal with at 5am…nope.

Completed my PLR order that TipTopCat (Victoria) is running this week for her birthday!

I’m posting on this blog right now. My PLR blog will have to wait till I get some rest.

Yes, this is what we do every day. Today was a good day. No flat tires (yesterday we had 3)…yay!

Time to stretch out and get some sleep….night all!

Best wishes,

Debi
