Geoff Shaw’s Kindling Training Review – Intro

First of all be forewarned. This is my very first full-blow product review. I’m counting on the fact that I’ve learned from one of the best and can implement it even half as well as she’s shown us all how!

So why this one?

There’s a couple of reasons actually. First, I’ve been reading about all the Kindle success stories for a few months. I knew I wanted to do something with it and it’s one of those things that’s just kept poking around in the back of my head every time someone brings it up.

Initially, I didn’t do anything about it because so many people were testing the waters. I wanted to wait till they started reporting on the stuff that actually works. I’ve barely had time to sleep this year so I certainly wasn’t going to give my 3 or 4 hours a night to start throwing stuff at the walls just to see what might stick!

Then I started seeing success stories. People who had created an ebook, put it on Kindle, and were making sales even without promoting. THAT’S the sort of thing I was waiting for. At that point, the Kindle thoughts started interrupting more of my day.

So I started researching. I started looking thru the Kindle library at Amazon. I bought a few that interested me so I could see what sort of quality was being offered and how closely related they were to “real” books. I had downloaded one to my smart phone a few months back when a friend of mine published her book out there and asked that I check it out and leave a review.

I went looking to see who knew what about Kindle. And not just the ones who said they knew. I wanted to find the ones who were actually making money with books they’d put out there. And I wanted to see who was teaching about it that people liked and, more importantly, trusted!

The one product that consistently kept coming up that fit the bill was Geoff Shaw’s Kindling Training.  I finally bought it about two weeks ago and until today, I haven’t done a darn thing with it. Why? Well it’s not that I haven’t wanted to dive right in. I’ve kept the login email unread in my inbox just as a reminder to get to it. So why haven’t I done it?

I can probably come up with a ton of reasons, the biggest being that I’ve been stuck in techie hell. Yes, it’s a long story and I’ll definitely post about it at another time but for now, suffice it to say that Sam Stephens is my hero… thanks Sam!

Now, as much as I’d like to dive right into reviewing, it’s 3:30am so I’m going to call it a night.

Oh, and I would have posted a picture of the product “cover” for you, but there doesn’t seem to be one that I’ve found! See, you don’t have to be fancy to be great!

Later…

  1. Hi there,
Did you know that your review is the first one on Google after the Warrior Forum? Of course you did. I went looking just now because I’m using a different browser and don’t have it bookmarked.

I am so proud for you!..Anyway, wanted to tell you that.
