I bought <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/tubemethod.php\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Fladlien&#8217;s Tube Method<\/a><\/strong><\/span> a few weeks back on my Shiny Object weekend and I&#8217;ve learned SO much about what video, and especially Hangouts can do for my traffic and business that I&#8217;m devoting some serious testing time in using it!<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t gotten thru even half the information in the product yet but I&#8217;m already seeing an increase in traffic. I know some of that (maybe most of it) is from the blogging challenge we did, but I haven&#8217;t posted as often recently and the traffic is still increasing.<\/p>\n<p>And more important to me was in just this single hangout, I had a comment, +1 AND a share&#8230; all before I&#8217;d even finished editing the thing on YouTube to be able to put it out here!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4NwK4fwuoCY\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The product that I&#8217;ve been working on for the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Product Creation Challenge<\/strong><\/span> is something that \u00a0I think is important for me to do. The problem is that I&#8217;ve been working on that product, and I keep getting stuck. I started thinking about whether it was something that I really wanna do&#8230; and it is.<\/p>\n<p>For people like me who are visual learners, get distracted easily and want to stay as productive and focused as possible, I know it&#8217;s a good product. And the reason I know that is because it includes the exact things that I started doing for my own business and blog to get ME focused and on track.<\/p>\n<p>But I get bored really easy and for this challenge, I want to make sure that I&#8217;m doing something that will get me thru the technical stuff, the creation, the writing, and everything else that it&#8217;s going to take to put it all together&#8230; without getting bored and giving it up or changing my direction!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-1586\" alt=\"Instant Expert\" src=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Expert_9371371_xs.jpg\" width=\"192\" height=\"144\" srcset=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Expert_9371371_xs.jpg 400w, http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Expert_9371371_xs-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 192px) 100vw, 192px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since I was so excited about <a href=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/tubemethod.php\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Tube Method<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, I just HAD to go out and see what other products Jason had to offer. I picked up several of them, but I started with his\u00a0<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/instantexpert.php\/\" target=\"_blank\">Instant Expert<\/a><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/instantexpert.php\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Product<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0because I wanted to know if it could help me get unstuck with the product I was working on. My thought was that I was getting in my own way because I didn&#8217;t feel like I necessarily knew ENOUGH. After all, how can I be an &#8220;expert&#8221; on something that I just started doing myself?<\/p>\n<p>By the time I was done, I was so impressed by it but I wanted to do a quick review of it here on my blog. But then I got thinking and five &#8220;Why not do the review using Hangouts and kind of do the whole kill two birds with one stone thing?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the thing about the product. I spent $30 and when I got it and unzipped it, there were exactly 3 files\u2026 One video, one audio, and a Word document. My first thought was that there MUST be something missing. I started with the word document because I wasn&#8217;t in a place where I could watch the video and they&#8217;re are all of 12 steps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-1596\" alt=\"Only 12 steps\" src=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-Steps-your-kidding.jpg\" width=\"146\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-Steps-your-kidding.jpg 346w, http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-Steps-your-kidding-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/debij.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/12-Steps-your-kidding-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 146px) 100vw, 146px\" \/>That&#8217;s it. 12 steps. Simple, actionable&#8230; and just 12. How often does THAT happen!? It doesn&#8217;t&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I just KNEW at that point that I had wasted my money. The thing is, Jason did such an awesome job on his Tube Method product that I just couldn&#8217;t believe that this product could be that awful. LOL<\/p>\n<p>So, I went ahead and listened to\/watch the video file. There was additional information that Jason covered in that file, along with a couple of examples on how to put the 12 steps to use. It got my attention.<\/p>\n<p>It was one of those things that just seemed like it was going to be TOO easy, or that it might work, but not as well as he said it would.<\/p>\n<p>I went back to the word document, grabbed a pen and paper, and started doing each step. It took me less than 10 minutes to complete. When I was done, I had a list of four products things that I want to become an expert in (which will lead to 4 products), and a simple plan to become an expert in the one that most interests me!<\/p>\n<p>Of course becoming that expert, along with documenting my results, will give me a great product!<\/p>\n<div class=\"scbb-content-box scbb-rounded-corners scbb-content-box-gray\">My recommendation (since I went thru the product) is that, if you&#8217;re already a product creator but want to significantly reduce the amount of time that it takes you to get it all done, this is worth taking a look at. If you have tons of product ideas already running circles in your head or written down on paper and your stuck in the decision-making process, you definitely want to check this out.<\/div>\n<p>So that&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve covered here. For those of you who prefer not to hear about all the personal stuff that&#8217;s going on, that starts at 5:14 so feel free to turn it off there.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who DO do the personal thing like I do, we had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We did ribs and hot dogs on the grill. I learned how to make Mexican corn on the cob (and it was delicious). And, we picked up a really sweet watermelon that just didn&#8217;t last that long!<\/p>\n<p>What was most fun for me is that my son had his friends (my &#8220;kids&#8221;) over too. It&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve had them around, so I really enjoyed it.
