I just wanted to post this quickly as a fun thing for people to check out today. I’ve been participating in a blog challenge for the past few weeks and many of the participants have posted a “Things You May Not Know About Me” type of post on their blogs. I’ve had such a great time learning personal stuff about people I met thru business avenues, that I wanted to make sure people saw these if they’d missed them.
And for those of you not in the challenge, you can check them out to see what types of things people are “telling” about themselves to get an idea of what you may want to include over on your own site.
It’s a great way to let people know that you’re a real live person!
Anyway, here it is (and if you’ve done a post yourself that I’ve missed, PLEASE let me know so that I can add it to the Mind map and update). Just click on the image below, download the zip file, unzip it and open the map. Then just click on the person’s name to link directly to their post!

Just used Freemind (cause it’s free so everyone can get to it). 🙂 It’s very easy to link the posts to the name circles (nodes… I don’t care for all the tech terminology that goes with mindmapping). What I haven’t gotten down yet (that was even cooler), was I had put everyone’s picture on the circle instead of their names. But when I zipped, sent, download and reopened, the pics were gone. I’ll get it figured out though cause I REALLY liked it! 🙂

This is so awesome. Question: Whenever I click on email Debi, it just downloads a zip file. It doesn’t email you. It opens up the mindmap and the list of things about you.

Well that’s a great question Ruth. I’ve downloaded them and clicked on Email Debi and can’t get them to do ANY thing so I’m wondering what I did. Of course now I’m wondering where you got a list of things about me too because I don’t have one out there yet. 🙂 Is it a mindmap or document or what? Gotta figure that one out! LOL
