Sunday Check-In (Vlog Challenge #12)

Just wanted to do a quick check in for Sunday (although I’m thinking you won’t see this till Monday). I’ve been continuing to work on a few projects that I want to finish up before Tiff starts the product challenge. I’ve also been evaluating the way I’m going about building my business so there are going to be some changes coming up. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on those.

    1. Thanks Bonnie. I’d thought about what you said before, and then I was stumped because I couldn’t figure out why I was suddenly having “posting block” (even joked on Ruth’s blog about blaming Tiffany for making me think I had to be Freaking Fantastic on every post), but then it dawned on me last week during a decision of WHICH blog the post I was doing should go on!!! That’s just nuts! LOL

      1. That’s why I made the decision last year (during Tiffany’s vlogging challenge) that I wanted to move everything I did over to my namesake domain.

It just made sense. As I build my “name brand” that’s exactly what people are going to search for in Google – my name.

So why not list everything I do under the same blog name so people can find me instead of landing on a product website I own, etc.

Even Tiffany does everything (mostly) from her TiffanyDow.com blog. The only thin she separates is her Amazon sales stuff… which I don’t blame her. I would too!

Looking forward to the challenge! It’s exciting as the day draws near. πŸ™‚

        1. Absolutely. And even though I’m not able to get Debi Jones dot com, I’m getting used to the Debi J so it’s all good. And if the last name was more difficult (being one of the Jones’ girls), I might not have liked it as well. Definitely looking forward to the product challenge, even though some of the things I’m moving forward on a bit quicker just because if I don’t it may not be quick enough… did I mention I don’t like truck driving any more? LOL

Awesome idea you had on that though and really glad you stuck a bug in her ear! πŸ™‚

  1. I knew (by the many fears stated just by her mentioning it) that nobody else would ever think of suggesting it because it would mean they caused their own stress. πŸ™‚ LOL

It was a natural thing to progress to. I’m glad I put a bug in her ear, too! πŸ™‚

Let’s home you feel the same way once the challenge starts! LOL

    1. That’s true. But I’m like you in that I enjoy putting stuff together to teach and help people. It’s the technical crap that frustrates me because it gets in the way of my spending my time actually creating!! LOL
