Yes, I fell behind on this review. That might explain why I’m a bit confused today when I go back to the training page. So I’m on the “Are You Lost” page…because yes, I am. 🙂
Ok, there are 5 items here. The first says to finish the Newbies and the Get A Book Published sections. So now I’m not sure when I should start the “Home” section stuff that’s above the Newbies section. Maybe the Newbies area will tell me.
Number 2 says to work my way down the list on the left side. Number 3 let’s me know why I should be doing all this. Man, aint that the truth! I came out of college with $25,000 worth of debt and a $26,000 a year job working 80 hours a week plus. I think this is going to be worth the time and expense. Number 4 lets me know whenever I come back I should check the Updates section first to see what’s been added. Number 5 is very good advice… something I took to heart (thank Goodness) years ago in my very first business venture!
Now on to the Newbies section.
By the way, before I forget, make sure you click on the section titles because they are actually links to more information. Where To Startcovers some really great information about how to choose a market. When I was searching through the Kindle store, I remember there were a ton of choices so it’s good to have some guidance on where to start.
Wow. Geoff offer some really good advice about how to get focused, especially for those of us that are newbies! Fewer books, higher-quality, less work, more money… I like those! 🙂
Good, there’s an audio.. I like his audio files and not just because of his accent. 🙂 They’re short, encouraging, and you have the ability this job, pause, rewind and fast-forward them.and maybe the only person on the Internet who is sick and tired of video lesson but I’m okay with that I know it’s weird though because I’m a visual learner. I think it’s more the ones that ONLY offer video though, with no way to follow along.
What he says makes really good sense. He also makes me feel like I can really do this and accomplish something if I just stay fo-cused on one topic at a time… Not always an easy task for a die hard multi-tasker!
There is a link to a short video about how to research your Kindle topic and, while I know how to do a lot of this, it’s nice to have an “expert” confirmation that I’ve been doing it right because it’s something that seems so simple that I thought “there MUST be a trick to it!” Oh, and there is a resource that I didn’t know about that will aid in my research as well. Cool.
I wonder why I’ve never noticed this comprehensive set of of this of categories on cannot before. There’s a book I’m working on that I wasn’t sure what category it would fall into, but with Geoff’s list, now I do.
I’ll go into the Newbies Section on my next review.
Until then…
